"The House Oversight Committee was scheduled to hear more testimony in the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden on Wednesday, but even one Newsmax host expressed his skepticism about how much farther Republicans could take it.

Newsmax host Rob Finnerty welcomed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on his show to ask him about what he expected to hear. At the same time, he pressed Jordan on the likelihood that a vote would even come to the floor:

Finnerty: So, is this moving? Again, seven and a half months to go until the election — is impeachment the next step? Are you going to hold a vote on the House floor? I know it’s up to [House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA)], but the margins, Congressman, you lost [Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)]. [Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO)] left last week. [Rep. George Santos (R-NY)] was ousted. Unless you get Democratic votes, this is going to be real tough. So, it kind of seems like you’re chasing your tail at this point because this is not going to go anywhere."
