Former SNP MP Margaret Ferrier loses her seat, and won't stand in by-election

The former SNP MP Margaret Ferrier has lost her seat in parliament, following a successful recall petition.

Ms Ferrier's conviction for breaking COVID rules, and subsequent suspension from Parliament, gave constituents the opportunity to vote on whether to force a by-election.
