Football fans clash with police in Naples ahead of Champions League match

Clashes flare up between Naples and Eintracht Frankfurt fans in the run-up to their Champions League match on 15 March.

Vehicles and property on the streets were set on fire and smashed, as fights between opposing fans broke out.

The authorities in the Italian city had previously banned supporters of the German team from coming fearing an outbreak of trouble.

UEFA criticise the initial move to block the Eintracht Frankfurt followers from attending.
