Efforts to deliver essentials to isolated parts of the Coromandel have ramped up with New World’s Waka Kai boat hitting the water.

Much of the area has no road access, no power, internet or phone service.

The delivery of much-needed supplies, and the occasional special treat, a welcome sight for residents along the isolated coast.
