First rescued British nationals land back in UK

The first plane carrying British nationals back from Sudan, has landed in Stansted Airport in the UK, having stopped off in Cyprus the day before.

Downing Street said a total of 301 people have been rescued from Sudan so far, with a woman on board one of the flights to the UK calling the evacuation mission "chaotic".
