First protest of the Biden presidency: Antifa rallies against ICE

New president, old protests.

Groups of black-clad Antifa rioters gathered in Seattle and Portland to burn flags, break windows, and destroy property just hours after Democrat President Joe Biden was inaugurated. Their right-wing counterparts, however, were absent.

In both states, protesters gathered outside local ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) offices. Demonstrators chanted slogans and called for the abolition of so-called ICE forces as they marched through the city center, decrying both the former and current US presidents, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Scuffles with the police led to arrests – at least two in Seattle and at least eight in Portland.
