The floodwaters are slowly starting to recede in Merritt, British Columbia, just months after wildfires destroyed the city.
Officials still are not sure how many people have remained in the city, but those who have left due to evacuations are still not being allowed back inside.
The community is still without water or sewage and parts of the city can no longer be safely accessed at all. Heather Yourex-West spoke to some evacuees about how they're coping.
