The federal government is hosting a national summit on Islamophobia, following a series of hate crimes targeting Muslims across Canada. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised to do more, but there are concerns his words won't translate into action.
A professor on Islamic Studies at the University of Toronto says the government needs to acknowledge its role in perpetuating Islamophobia in Canada. The university has also released a study that found government audits routinely target and are biased against Muslim charities. Mike Drolet reports.
