Farmers Protest Near Chandigarh-Mohali Border

Punjab farmers sat on a protest near the Chandigarh-Mohali border on Tuesday after being stopped from heading to the state capital to press the Aam Aadmi Party government with various demands, including wheat bonus and beginning paddy sowing from June 10. Carrying ration, beds, fans, coolers, utensils, cooking gas cylinders and other items, farmers from across Punjab assembled at a Gurdwara in Mohali.
