Farmers Protest: Thousands of farmers from Nashik, under the banner of All India Kisan Sabha have gathered in Mumbai. A massive rally has been planned at Azad Maidan today. Over 16 lakh people have been vaccinated so far in India, the government has said. The top three states with the highest vaccinations are Karnataka, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. Kerala, meanwhile, continues to report the highest number of COVID-19 cases in India. In other news, thick fog was reported over parts of north India this morning. Cold wave conditions are expected to continue till January 27.
