A new round of blasts in the Ukrainian capital has followed a barrage of cruise missile attacks that killed one person and wounded a dozen others.
Ukraine's president has promised to fight until victory, as Russia ended the year by launching more than 20 missiles, mostly in the direction of the capital, Kyiv.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine will not forgive what officials there have called “Terror on New Year’s Eve”.
