Across Geneva, Switzerland, tens of thousands of undocumented Filipino workers cook meals, clean homes and care for wealthy families.

But their own accommodation is a daily struggle.

At the mercy of so-called “slumlords”, they are forced to pay exorbitant rates in a sordid trade in which apartments are rented out by the room. More than 10 people are often crammed in a small one-bedroom flat.

101 East exposes the exploitation of vulnerable Filipino workers in one of the richest countries in the world.
