Evidence Of 3200-year-old Civilization in Tamil Nadu. Rewrite History, Says MK Stalin

In a significant archaeological development, carbon dating of excavations from the banks of river Tamiraparani in Tamil Nadu has led to the discovery of 3200-year-old civilisation. This would make the Porunai civilisation the oldest in south India and brings Tamil civilisation closer to the Indus Valley civilisation. Chief Minister MK Stalin who announced this in the assembly has called for rewriting of the history of civilisation from the landscape of Tamil Nadu. NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to the Minister in charge of industries and archeology Thangam Thennarasu to know about the government's plans regarding the discovery.
