Evidence emerging from the conflict in Ethiopia, suggesting war crimes have been committed, has prompted the UN to establish an international investigation.

We report from the village of Ambo Weha in the northern Amhara region, where we have gathered testimony of people being detained and killed because of their ethnicity.

The Tigrayan rebel fighters, known as the TPLF, today announced they have withdrawn from Amhara and neighbouring regions after major territorial gains by the Ethiopian military.

Much of the footage we have gathered is too graphic to show, but we should warn you that this report does contain distressing images from the conflict.
