England and Wales at 'very high' risk of wildfires

In South Wales, wildfires have proven to be so difficult to extinguish that tactics more often used in California have been implemented, with UK summers predicted to only get hotter and dryer.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Police Scotland have warned people to stay indoors and close all windows and doors to prevent smoke inhalation whilst the wildfire rages on near Inverness.
