Energy Secretary says UK will get its 'energy independence' back

Kwasi Kwarteng says the Government's new energy strategy will ensure that the UK will get its 'energy independence' back.

Nuclear energy and on-shore wind farms are some of the plans outlined in the "Energy Security Strategy" to help tackle soaring energy prices and reduce reliance on Russian oil and gas.

The Energy Secretary also supported the Prime Minister's recent statements regarding trans rights.
