The population of endangered black rhinos in Kenya has risen to more than 1,000 after successful relocation efforts by local wildlife rangers.

Documentary filmmaker Tom Martienssen has spent two years on a project on the elusive and unpredictable animals, and told Kay Burley about the lengths he's had to go to to film the solitary creatures.

Sky News also spoke to the former first lady of Laikipia county, Maria Mbeneka, where the rhino relocation took place.
