Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and owner of Twitter, spoke on the dangers and negative consequences of artificial intelligence (AI) without regulation during a panel discussion at the Vivatech show in Paris.

"If we are not careful creating artificial general intelligence, we could have potentially a catastrophic outcome," he said.

Musk was also asked about Twitter regulation. "There's plenty of regulators, sure."
