US President-elect Joe Biden has told Americans that democracy has "prevailed," after the Electoral College formally validated his victory in the November presidential election.
Its members gave Biden 306 votes to President Donald Trump’s 232 votes.
Despite that, Trump still sent out multiple tweets about election fraud.
