The coronavirus pandemic is casting a shadow over campaigning ahead of a general election in Morocco. People will vote on Wednesday.
With restrictions banning large gatherings still in place, political parties in Morocco are limited to holding small street canvassings as they seek support ahead of Wednesday's elections.
Morocco has dealt with the pandemic far better than many countries. It currently has the highest vaccination rate in Africa, but COVID-19 is still a threat.
While the economy is gradually recovering, there is no doubt that COVID will be a significant factor in how people will vote on Wednesday.
It will be the third election since a new constitution was introduced in 2011.
Al Jazeera's Jamal Elshayyal reports from Casablanca, Morocco.
