Severe weather in South Dakota brought strong winds to the area on Thursday.

A no-travel advisory was issued for the city of Sioux Falls due to fallen large trees and downed power lines.

Wind gusts of up to 80 miles per hour were reported across the region, causing significant structural damage.

“Get away from any window and move to an interior room,” the National Weather Service warned.
