DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson: 'We're not in a position to endorse the Windsor framework'

Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has spoken about the decision by the DUP to vote against the Stormont brake, a key part of the Windsor Framework, in the House of Commons on Wednesday.

The break allows Stormont to request disapplication of EU law, but Westminster must approve it.

The DUP leader said: "Based on where we are at the moment and the need for those key concerns to be addressed, we're not in a position to endorse the Windsor Framework and we've made clear that we will continue to engage with the government to have those concerns that we have outlined properly addressed."
