The Turkana people of northwest Kenya know all about loss and damage caused by global warming.

The land where they live a semi-nomadic life herding livestock is in the grip of the worst drought in decades.

90% of water sources are running low or dry, leading to the death of more than a million of their animals, and the drought has triggered violent clashes between communities competing for scarce food.
