In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), attacks by the M23 rebel group have displaced more than 800,000 people since last March.
The group, widely believed to be backed by Rwanda, continues to seize territory in the east, despite regional efforts to end the violence.

Al Jazeera's Malcolm Webb reports from the city of Goma, DRC.
