Around 40 cars were destroyed in a fire at an auto auction yard in Indianapolis in the early hours of Sept. 15, the local fire department said. The fire department said the crews had the fire under control by 3:26 a.m. local time.
The Indianapolis Fire Department said firefighters arrived at 1:46 a.m. at Insurance Auto Auctions to find the cars ablaze.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
