Dozens dead after suspension bridge collapses in western India

A suspension bridge over a river in the western Indian state of Gujarat collapsed, killing at least 81 people and plunging hundreds into the water. The 230-metre historic bridge built during British rule in the 19th century had been closed for renovation for six months and was reopened for the public last week.
