Donald Trump has spoken in Rochester, New Hampshire, as his Republican rival for president - Ron DeSantis - dropped out of the nomination race, before throwing his weight behind the frontrunner.

DeSantis was once tipped as Donald Trump's biggest challenger for the Republican presidential nomination, but only narrowly beat his nearest rival, Nikki Haley, in the party's Iowa caucuses.
