Former US President Donald Trump faces four criminal charges over his push to overturn the 2020 US election results.
Trump appeared in a federal courthouse in Washington, a kilometer away from the Capitol Building which was stormed by his supporters on January 6, 2021.

The case is the third criminal indictment filed against the Republican frontrunner since March.
