The son and namesake of former US President Donald Trump testified Wednesday, denying involvement in his father's financial statements which are central to the civil fraud trial endangering his dad’s real estate empire.

As an executive vice president of Trump Organization and trustee during his father's White House tenure, he distanced himself from the contested documents.
