कुरान में दो आयतें ऐसी हैं, जिनमें इस बात का उल्लेख है कि युद्धभूमि में दुश्मन का सिर धड़ से अलग करना पूरी तरह से जायज है. यानी जिन लोगों ने उदयपुर में इस व्यक्ति की हत्या की, वो उनके लिए एक दुश्मन था. बड़ी बात ये है कि भारत में शायद ये इस तरह की पहली घटना है, जब पैगम्बर मोहम्मद साहब के अपमान पर एक व्यक्ति का सिर धड़ से अलग किया गया है.
