सड़क हादसे हमारे देश में आम बात है. भारत में हर घंटे 18 लोग सड़कों पर बेवक्त अपनी जान गंवा देते है. केन्द्रीय सड़क परिवहन मंत्रालय ने वर्ष 2021 में एक रिपोर्ट जारी की है. इस रिपोर्ट में दावा किया गया है कि भारत में हर घंटे में 47 सड़क हादसे होते है. वर्ष 2021 में सड़क हादसों की वजह से 1,53,972 लोगों ने अपनी जान गंवा दी थी.
