इस लोकसभा चुनाव में पश्चिम बंगाल, देश का इकलौता ऐसा राज्य है, जहां हर चरण में हिंसा हुई है। पश्चिम बंगाल, राजनीतिक हिंसा के अपने रक्त चरित्र की वजह से पूरे देश में खराब छवि बना चुका है। इस बार अबतक जम्मू कश्मीर में औसतन 60 प्रतिशत वोटिंग हो चुकी है। और सबसे बड़ी बात ये है कि चुनावी हिंसा की कोई खबर नहीं है. लेकिन वहीं पश्चिम बंगाल में चार चरणों में औसतन 79 प्रतिशत वोटिंग हुई है, लेकिन हर चरण में चुनावी हिंसा हुई है.
