An unusual dispute is brewing between scientists and Indigenous groups in Los Angeles.
They both want the remains of a wild cougar known as P-22.
The big cat was a local legend, and is being mourned across the city and beyond.
Partly inspired by the feline celebrity, California is building an enormous wildlife crossing to stitch together animal habitats fragmented by development.
