The chip can store a person’s contact details, social media profile links and other information – in what’s being described as a ‘digital calling card.’

Nour Makarem, CEO of Lanour Beauty Lounge, claims she wants to create a contactless alternative to physical business cards in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

People can simply scan the microchipped fingernail with their phone, and have instant access to an individual's information.

One may be sure that the idea is totally safe and won’t be abused in any way whatsoever… right?
