पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री शहबाज शरीफ को भूकंप आपदा से प्रभावित तुर्की ने भी गहरा झटका दे दिया है। दरअसल श्री शहबाज ने भूकंप प्रभावित देश तुर्की दौरे का प्लान बनाया था, लेकिन तुर्की के अधिकारियों ने दो दिन बाद कहा कि राष्ट्रपति अंकारा में राहत कार्यों में व्यस्त हैं। वहीं कतर के अमीर शेख तमीम बिन हमद अल थानी रविवार को तुर्की पहुंचे और राष्ट्रपति रेसेप तैयप एर्दोगन से मुलाकात भी की, जिससे पाकिस्तान की विश्व स्तर पर घोर बेइज्जती के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। तुर्की अपने दक्षिण-पूर्वी क्षेत्र और पास के सीरिया में आए विनाशकारी 7.8 तीव्रता के भूकंप के बाद राहत प्रयासों में तेजी लाने पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहा है। इस विनाशकारी भूकंप में 33,000 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हुई है और हताहतों की संख्या में और वृद्धि होने की उम्मीद है क्योंकि बचाव अभियान अभी तक चल रहा है।
