Eknath Shinde took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra while BJP's Devendra Fadnavis became the Deputy Chief Minister. Earlier, Devendra Fadnavis had announced that he would remain out of the government, but after the appeal of party president JP Nadda and the high command, Fadnavis agreed.

एकनाथ शिंदे ने महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर शपथ ले ली जबकि BJP के देवेंद्र फडणवीस उप मुख्यमंत्री बनाए गए हैं. इससे पहले देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने ऐलान किया था कि वो सरकार से बाहर ही रहेंगे लेकिन पार्टी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा और आलाकमान के निर्देश के बाद फडणवीस मान गए.
