Des Ki Baat - August 24, 2021: The Congress party, led by Rahul Gandhi, today came down hard on the Centre's National Monetisation Pipeline. Alleging that the move would help "2-3 private players", it said the privatisation list busts BJP's often-repeated claim that decades of Congress rule had seen no development. It also accused the government of selling these assets now to cover up its mismanagement of the economy. Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government over the monetisation plan, Mr Gandhi said "only a few businesses will be left" as a result of it and that employment opportunities would decline.
