Des Ki Baat - February 10, 2022: The battle for Uttar Pradesh began on Thursday with voting in 58 assembly seats spread across 11 districts in the western part of the state. UP assembly elections 2022 will be held in seven phases - February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, March 3 and 7. Among the prominent candidates in this phase were Pankaj Singh, sitting MLA from Noida and son of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Baby Rani Maurya, former Uttarakhand governor who is contesting from Agra Rural.
