Democrats blast Republicans for flying planes of migrants to Martha's Vineyard as "political pawns"

Over this past week, dozens of migrants boarded planes and buses to the wealthy Democratic stronghold of Martha's Vineyard. Many migrants say they were duped and dumped.

Amid the ongoing struggles to control the flow of people across the U.S.-Mexico border, humanitarian groups and Democrats have condemned what they've called "political stunts" as part of a Republican campaign to re-ignite the debate over illegal border crossings.

Critics say that Republican leaders are using migrants as political pawns in an "inhumane" and "un-American" manner.

As Jackson Proskow reports, their relocations were organized by Texas and Florida's Republican governors who claim they're just trying to make a point about a so-called "immigration crisis" on their doorstep, along America's southern border.
