Ukraine’s government says a major factor impacting the speed of its counteroffensive against Russia is the density of land mines across its enormous front line.

By some estimates, it could take years – or even decades – to rid Ukraine of all the landmines in the country.

In the meantime, Ukrainians are getting creative in their efforts to demine the country. Redmond Shannon explains.
