Delta Variant Was Dominant In April, May: Top Tamil Nadu Official

Even as Tamil Nadu is recording a decline in positive cases, the state has recorded 10 cases linked to Delta variant; one person has died. NDTV spoke to Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Dr J Radhakrishnan on the variant, vaccine shortage and reports of underreporting of deaths amid the second wave. Denying any cover-up, the senior officer says interpreting data half way through could lead to spurious conclusions.
