हरियाणा के हथिनीकुंड बैराज से पानी छोड़ा जा रहा है, जिससे दिल्ली में यमुना का रौद्र रूप दिख रहा है. यमुना का जलस्तर आज, 13 जुलाई की सुबह 8 बजे 208.48 मीटर रिकॉर्ड किया गया, जो खतरे के निशान से 3 मीटर 15 सेंटीमीटर ऊपर है. दिल्ली के निचले इलाकों में यमुना का पानी पहुंचने से बाढ़ आ गई है, कई इलाकों में घर-मकान सब पानी में डूब गए हैं. बाढ़ प्रभावित इलाकों में धारा 144 लागू कर दी गई है और निचले इलाकों में बिगड़ते हालात के बीच एनडीआरएफ ने मोर्चा संभाल लिया है. लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाया जा रहा है लेकिन सैलाब के रूप में हरियाणा से दिल्ली की ओर खतरा पल-पल बढ़ रहा है.

Due to Yamuna water reaching the low-lying areas of Delhi, there has been flood, in many areas houses and houses have all been submerged in water. Section 144 has been imposed in the flood affected areas. People are being taken to safe places but the danger from Haryana towards Delhi is increasing every moment in the form of inundation.
