In Colombia's Amazon, a community forestry programme is intending to change the way farmers live in the rainforest.
It is part of efforts to end logging in the rainforest, replace coca farming, and promote sustainable development.
The programme is small and does not offer a long-term solution when locals say the real problem is large businesses and criminal groups that clear huge swaths of rainforest for mining, cattle ranching and drug trafficking.
Al Jazeera's @Alessandro Rampietti visits El Capricho, where people are, nevertheless, trying to change things for the better.
