A former prisoner who spent 25 days on the run having escaped death row in the US has said he thinks Khalife is "already out of the area".

Nick Yarris, who was 24 when he was involved in a helicopter chase that went on for hours, told Sky News that even with or without help Khalife had probably managed to "get out of the area somehow".
