Dame Esther Rantzen: 'Law on assisted dying is a mess'

The 83-year-old Childline founder, who has stage four lung cancer, revealed in December she had joined the assisted dying clinic, Dignitas, in Switzerland.

She told Sky's Gareth Barlow: "When someone is at their last stages of illness and asking for someone to help them die, this should be allowed and the law needs to be changed."
