Biparjoy, the first storm to form in the Arabian Sea this year, has rapidly turned into a severe cyclonic storm. Biparjoy is about to reach the Southeast Arabian Sea near Gujarat. Due to the storm, there is a possibility of thunderstorm on May 15. On June 15, the storm will pass through Jakhau port (Gujarat), Mandvi (Gujarat) and Karachi (Pakistan) by noon. There is a possibility of reaching Rajasthan on 16th June. According to IMD, the maximum wind speed can be 125-135 kmph to 150 kmph. According to the Meteorological Department, the storm has weakened somewhat on Tuesday, but it still remains dangerous. This storm is going to hit the Jakhau port of Kutch district on the afternoon of June 15. According to the Meteorological Department, winds are expected to blow at a speed of up to 150 km/h due to the collision of this storm. Due to the storm, thunderstorms are continuing in the coastal areas of Gujarat and Mumbai. So far 7 deaths have been reported from Gujarat and Maharashtra. Let us inform that till June 11, 2023, the storm Biparjoy was being considered as a severe cyclonic storm. After that it has turned into a very severe cyclonic storm. Extremely severe cyclones form when the wind speed reaches 168–221 kilometers per hour (kmph). According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the wind speed was 165-175 to 190 kmph till 11.30 am on June 12.

इस साल अरब सागर में बनने वाला पहला तूफान 'बिपरजॉय' तेजी से गंभीर चक्रवाती तूफान में बदल गया है. बिपरजॉय गुजरात के पास दक्षिण पूर्व अरब सागर में पहुंचने वाला है. तूफान की वजह से 15 मई को आंधी-तूफान का अंदेशा है. 15 जून को तूफान दोपहर तक जखाऊ बंदरगाह (गुजरात), मांडवी (गुजरात) और कराची (पाकिस्तान) के बीच से होकर गुजरेगा. 16 जून को राजस्थान पहुंचने की आशंका है. आईएमडी के अनुसार हवा की अधिकतम गति 125-135 किमी प्रति घंटे से 150 किमी प्रति घंटे तक हो सकती है.मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक मंगलवार को तूफान कुछ कमजोर हुआ है, लेकिन यह अब भी खतरनाक बना हुआ है. ये तूफान 15 जून की दोपहर को कच्छ जिले के जखौ पोर्ट से टकराने वाला है. मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक इस तूफान के टकराने से 150 किमी/घंटे तक की रफ्तार से हवाएं चलने का अनुमान है. गुजरात और मुंबई के तटीय इलाकों में तूफान की वजह से आंधी-बारिश जारी है. गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र से अब तक 7 लोगों की मौत की खबर है. बता दें कि 11 जून 2023 तक तूफान बिपरजॉय को गंभीर चक्रवाती तूफान माना जा रहा था. उसके बाद ये अत्यंत गंभीर चक्रवाती तूफान में बदल गया है. अत्यंत गंभीर चक्रवात तब बनते हैं जब हवा की गति 168-221 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे (किमी प्रति घंटे) हो जाती है. भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (आईएमडी) के मुताबिक 12 जून को सुबह 11.30 बजे तक हवा की गति 165-175 से 190 किमी प्रति घंटे तक थी
