Customers Hit As Government Puts Lakshmi Vilas Bank Under Moratorium

Many customers of the Tamil Nadu based Lakshmi Vilas Bank were caught off-guard as the centre placed the bank under moratorium till the 16th of December following huge losses. Customers can withdraw only up to 25000 Rs while for emergencies withdrawal of up to Rs 5 lakh is allowed. NDTV's Sam Daniel caught up with Mythili who was desperate as she couldn't withdraw the required money for a medical emergency.
