On Sunday, the northeastern Mallorca region of Spain was hit hard by heavy rain and strong winds. While enduring the storm, the cruise ship "Britannia" was involved in a collision in Mallorca, Spain after breaking free from its mooring. Minor damage was reported on three decks and a lifeboat. Passengers experienced a delay of seven hours in the terminal before being able to board the Britannia again.

Meanwhile on land, the winds were so powerful that they uprooted trees and blew cafe furniture and debris into nearby buildings.

According to a local resident, the experience was “scary.”
