Crowds have gathered to rally outside Omagh Courthouse, Northern Ireland after two masked men opened fire on Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell as he was loading footballs into the boot of his car on Wednesday night, with police saying his son was present during the attack. DCI Caldwell remains in stable but critical condition in hospital.
