People in Sevastopol said on Monday they were "worried" about recent drone attacks on the city, but remained confident in the Russian army's anti-missile capabilities.

Russia's Black Sea Fleet repelled a drone attack on the Crimean port of Sevastopol in the early hours of Monday, the Moscow-installed governor of the city said through social media.

Soon after, the Russian defence ministry said that three Ukrainian naval drones had unsuccessfully attempted overnight to attack Russia's Black Sea fleet in Sevastopol. All three were destroyed and there were no casualties, the ministry said.

Sevastopol, along with the rest of the Crimean Peninsula, was annexed by Russia in 2014, but is internationally recognized as part of Ukraine.
